THE CONCEPT OF CHI

Your Guardian Spirit - "personal god" or "higher self"

In Nigerian Igbo theological philosophy and culture the 'chi' is a personalized providence from God, personal deity; akin to both soul and spirit. Its a spark of divine being bestowed upon man. Chi is the Great Spirit of your life that will continue to exist until you reincarnate. Its your angel for life.

'Chi' is a person's guardian spirit, an individual's invisible half, a man's over-soul. It is a personal life force, one's providence, or a divided-up life principle. Chi is a person's personal god or life force who is believed to be responsible for their success or failure in life. Chi is an individual's invisible essence.

The concept of Chi can be likened to that of blood coursing through one's veins –As long as you are alive, your blood will continue to circulate throughout your body system.

It does not matter if you feed your Chi or not; it is still there within you as long as you live on earth and beyond after you have joined your ancestors.

Basically, A person's higher self, or Chi, is their spirit (mmúoo). The proverb "If a person agrees to a thing, his spirit agrees also"—onye kwe, Chi ya ekwe—comes from the understanding that destiny is determined by this spirit. People are viewed in their culture as the architects or makers of their own fate. The heart contains the breath of life, óbì.

Chi is the name for the day and brightness that contrasts with the darkness.

Chukwu, the ultimate being existing outside of space and time, is the universal chi that is subtly in command of everything. Chukwu's name is a combination of the words "great in size, supreme," or chí+ukwu. The path of a person's spiritual journey on earth is said to be determined by chi, which is said to be a spiritual link between a person and the high god.

Every individual chi is unique, inseparable from the universal chi of everything, and in communication with it. It is said that chi is bestowed upon people both before and at the moment of birth by the high god Chukwu. Chi is a guardian spirit that offers protection, providence, and guardianship; in this way, the idea of chi is similar to the idea of a man. Chi is not genderless like Chukwu, although it can be masculine.

Through divination (áfà), a dibia can determine a person's chi and counsel followers on how to appease it. Another name for Chukwu is Chineke, a combination of the terms chí ne éke, which means "chi the creatrix," and chí nne éké, which means "chi the creative mother." Ékè is the creative and polarizing feminine force, and the heavenly male force.

While Chi created the world, Eke separated it by introducing a divisive trickster force that brought death and misery. Despite this, Eke and Chi are still seen as one. Éké is the guardian spirit of one's ancestors. Chukwu, also known as Chineke, is a mystery to the people and resides on the edge of human existence. A chi shrine is typically found in a household and it may be centered on a tree. When a lady marries, she brings her entire possessions, including her chi shrine, to her new home.

WHY YOU HAVE A CHI

Chukwu created the world, then he put the creative spirit in the man known as his Chi to decide the course of his life. the Igbo people believe that each person has their own personal spiritual guardian called Chi (or ḿmúọ́), appointed to them before and at the time of their birth. The Chi remains with them for the rest of their lives on Earth.

It can also be known as reincarnation..

The belief in reincarnation seems to be particularly strong. The Igbo believe that reincarnation usually occurs within the same immediate or extended family. They try to identify the reincarnated ancestor by means of birthmarks, statements a child makes when it becomes able to speak, and behavioral resemblances between the child and the deceased person of whom it is the presumed reincarnation.

The Chi is a part of Chukwu that resides in human beings. person’s Chi is responsible for their success or failure. If one succeeds or fails, the Chi has a role to play in it. there are situations in a person’s life where it is believed that one’s chi may work against him.”... Chi is an individual's personal god which accounts for the fortune or misfortunes that one experiences in life."

Whatever a person experiences in life, the Chi is responsible. Its better to discover your personal spirit and align them for your ways to open, Without your chi ,you won't know your purpose on earth, Your chi will guide and direct you fulfill your destiny on earth.

Know this fact as you seek the face of your chi and know how Christianity changed our originality.

Your chi can be your ancestors from both your paternal and maternal side.  Your chi can be a Ngene, Akpu. Ngwu. Ogwugwu. Oshimiri, Anunuebe. any Deity in your village or town –Arusi obodo. Your chi can even be an animal and so on.

As you search, pay attention on the encounter that you will have, do not focus on only seeing your great grandpa, great grandma, grandma, grandpa or only human. In your dreams always pay attention to the names that you hear sometimes, they will not show themselves to you unless you have the eyes to see them but they will announce their name to your hearing through dreams.

The most common way to ascertain the name of your chi is through Afa – divination. In the olden days when a child is born, the parents would do the Igba Agu and then proceed to appeasing the chi with sacrifices and affirmations.

It’s said that if an alusi becomes someone’s chi it’s because the original chi - the reincarnation may have ran to that alusi or oshimiri for refuge due to adversities of life or mysterious occurrences during that persons lifetime. Or the person may have voluntarily given himself/herself to that Alusi as a living sacrifice to solve problem of the family or village such as the trouble that comes from alu ani.

Although the Chi experience varies however, any name that you hear so loud in your dream many times may be your chi's name. The name will be so loud and clear and after you hear the name, your chi will force you to wake up so that you will not forget it. And immediately you wake up, try and write the name down no matter how weak you are.

CONNECTING WITH THE CHI

Its highly advisable start your morning affirmations with the name of your Chi and ezumezu mmuo. Find out the names of strong deities in your clan –Umunna and summon them. Some of the prominent ones are Aja ani, Amadioha, Arobinagu, Udo summon the village waters to come and carry your prayer request.

Those names are very powerful and they carry your request with speed. Use those names in your daily prayers and see your request fulfilled. Your spiritual soldiers are your Ezumezu mmuo. Its the combination of all your spirit entities that are assigned to assist you on earth.

After water appeasement or settlement continue to call on them until you you begin to feel their energy and presence on your yourself. +After appeasement and acknowledging them you still need to learn how to summon them on your daily prayers before leaving your house.

These spirits are highly powerful if only you can remember to mention their names during your prayer especially the water spirits, call your spirit wife and spirit husband to assist you on your daily hustle because that's their duty to help you on earth.

After acknowledging and appeasing them you are now qualified to summon them and make your demands.

My advice is for you to go back and acknowledge your Chi uwa and also know the spirit that is preventing you from breakthrough. Setting them and be in a good term with them and everything will surprise you, automatic turn around and changes.

BONDING WITH YOUR CHI AND DEITIES

Purify yourself with oseorji (alligator pepper) and use Nzu ndi mmiri (Kaolin clay) Kolanut, Edo and hot drink to summon them by calling their names. Have a desire to know your forses. Do not complain if you don’t see result right away. The don’t like that. They will make things difficult for you if you are returning to them for money or material things.

If your family/ancestral deities altar has been destroyed, be aware that its only done in the physical realm, these deities are spirits and spirits cant be chained, burnt or destroyed. Even if your extended family members called clergy men to come destroy The Deity, I want to let you know that it's only the altar that was destroyed, Deity or spirits never die. Even if the altar has been long abandoned you still need to appease them.

THE MISCONCEPTION ABOUT CHI/ONYEUWA

Many people have questioned me if they don't feed their Chi/Onyeuwa, the deity will leave them or forsake them. My goal is to debunk some myths around this issue.

The idea of Chi is similar to blood flowing through your veins; as long as you live, your blood will keep moving through all of the systems in your body.

The existence of your Chi is independent of whether or not you feed it; Its critical to comprehend the purpose of feeding your Chi, which is to energize it to operate on your behalf and activate Ikenga, the source of power and active forces. A person's Chi gives their Ikenga vitality when it is properly nurtured, allowing them to accomplish amazing things.

Furthermore, one's Chi serves as an ally, making all the essential preparations to guarantee success and prosperity. It does more harm than good to ignore or withhold from someone what deepens their relationship with their god. In summary, cultivating one's Chi is beneficial not just for the sake of duty but also because it brings prosperity, energy, and provision into one's life.

Its my earnest wish for you to discover whom you are and your purpose in life. To embrace it and be the best you could be and live your best life with ease while on earth. If you are ready to embark on this spiritual journey contact me and I will guide you for free of charge.
